CLUB COMPETITIONS SEASON 2024-25
Finals weekend:
Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th April 2025
All Members are invited to compete in club competitions.
All matches will be played in accordance with E.I.B.A. and E.B.F. rules as appropriate.
DRESS CODE
Ladies:
White Tops with collars and sleeves or branded bowls shirt of any colour.
Blue waistcoat or cardigan or white branded wear.
Grey trousers, grey skirts with two pleats back and front or bowls branded cut- offs, shorts or black trousers.
Bowling shoes of any colour.
Men:
White Shirts with collars and sleeves or branded bowls shirt of any colour.
Grey trousers or bowls branded shorts or black trousers.
Bowling shoes of any colour.
Ladies / Men:
There will be the following exceptions to the above rules:
Club shirts and trousers to be worn for national, county and
club representative matches
Individual entries in national or county competitions – members to comply with dress code rules of the particular competition entered.
For indoor/outdoor league, outdoor club shirts may be worn.
Club competitions – club shirt and white trousers to be worn on Finals Day.
Roll-ups – preferably bowls dress as detailed above, but smart casual is also acceptable. Track suits or Jeans are not acceptable.
The Club reserves the right to exclude any person from playing who persistently fails to comply to the above code.
IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF ALL TEAM CAPTAINS TO OBSERVE THE SPIRIT OF THE LEAGUES AND ENSURE THAT WHERE POSSIBLE ALL MEMBERS OF THE TEAM PLAY IN AN EQUAL NUMBER OF GAMES.
POSTPONED GAMES MUST BE REARRANGED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE

RUNNING ON THE GREEN IS NOT PERMITTED
NEITHER DRINKS NOR FOOD SHOULD BE TAKEN ON TO THE GREEN. THE CARPET IS OUR BIGGEST ASSET AND DAMAGE TO IT WILL BE EXPENSIVE TO RECTIFY.
